Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Prepare food items following safety standards, including handling ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining proper sanitation.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales while providing excellent customer service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.
• Manage food service customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery from the kitchen to the table or counter.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, cleaning kitchen surfaces, utensils, and dining areas regularly.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with retail sales transactions if applicable, including stocking supplies and managing inventory levels.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety procedures is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, or café operations within the food industry or grocery store environment.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell products and process cash or card payments accurately.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory counts confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Pay: $11.67 - $16.00 per hour
