Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, mold, and asbestos-related incidents, demonstrating emergency response readiness at all times.
• Perform water damage restoration, flood cleanup, fire restoration, and mold remediation using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols including respiratory and respiratory protection measures.
• Conduct cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and debris removal following restoration procedures.
• Assist with construction-related activities when necessary, including minor repairs or structural assessments during restoration projects.
• Use industry-standard software such as Xactimate for accurate damage assessment and documentation.
• Follow strict safety guidelines including PPE use, asbestos abatement procedures if applicable, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies and maintain a flexible schedule to meet project demands.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on progress while delivering excellent customer service throughout the restoration process.

Experience

• Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire damage repair, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement techniques is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to operate power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards required for hazardous environments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain professional under pressure during emergency situations.
• Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
