L&S Customs is hiring an experienced Restoration Body Technician to help build high-end classic cars, hot rods, and custom vehicles. We’re looking for someone with proven restoration experience who can take ownership of their work and deliver results worthy of the finished build.

Our vehicles have earned national recognition over the past 10 years. We want a skilled craftsperson who is ready to contribute to that standard and help us keep improving.

What You’ll Do

• Perform restoration bodywork on classic cars, trucks, and custom builds.
• Align doors, hoods, deck lids, and fenders for consistent gaps and proper operation.
• Refine body lines, contours, and panel transitions.
• Complete metal finishing, blocking, and surface preparation for high-quality paint.
• Check fitment before moving a vehicle into the next stage of the build.
• Work closely with fabrication, paint, and assembly team members.
• Communicate progress, identify problems early, and keep projects moving without sacrificing workmanship.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven professional experience in classic-car restoration or high-end custom bodywork.
• Strong skills in panel alignment, body shaping and block sanding.
• An eye for straightness, symmetry, fit, and finish.
• Ability to solve the fitment challenges that come with older vehicles and reproduction panels.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time, and follow a build plan.
• Dependability, clear communication, and respect for the other people working on the vehicle.
• Photos of completed projects and work in progress that demonstrate your skills.

Collision repair experience is welcome, but hands-on restoration experience is essential. We need someone who understands the preparation and precision required for a high-end classic or custom build.
