Lightspeed Restoration is a full-service restoration company serving the DFW area, specializing in mold remediation along with water and fire damage restoration. We're a growing, hands-on team looking for a reliable field technician to join us.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Restoration Field Technician with a focus on mold remediation to join our crew. You'll work on-site at residential and commercial properties, performing containment setup, remediation, demolition, and cleanup in accordance with industry standards and company protocols. Water and fire restoration experience is a plus, as our techs support all service lines as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up containment barriers, negative air pressure systems, and air scrubbers per job scope
• Perform mold remediation work including removal of affected materials, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application
• Assist with water extraction, structural drying, and fire/smoke damage cleanup as needed
• Operate and maintain field equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, moisture meters)
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and heat safety procedures
• Document job progress with photos and notes for reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized service van and job site
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers on-site
• Support senior technicians and the Operations Manager on larger or more complex jobs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mold remediation, water restoration, or a related field (construction, demolition, HVAC) preferred
• IICRC certification (e.g., AMRT, WRT) a plus, but not required — we'll support certification for the right candidate
• Comfortable working in tight spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and other physically demanding environments
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in Texas heat and varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
