Restoration Technician

Mitigation Technician Job Overview

We are looking for a Mitigation Technician to join our growing restoration company. This is a hands-on field position helping customers recover from water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. You will work with the mitigation team, respond to emergency calls, document your work, and help keep our equipment, trucks, and shop ready for the next job.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, smoke, mold, and demolition work under the direction of a Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Respond to emergency calls and help with urgent restoration jobs.
• Set up, monitor, clean, and remove drying and mitigation equipment.
• Take moisture readings, photos, and notes, and provide daily job updates.
• Follow company procedures, job-site safety requirements, and applicable IICRC standards.
• Protect customer property and leave job sites clean and professional.
• Communicate job conditions, problems, and progress to your Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Help clean, stock, and organize trucks, equipment, and the shop.
• Step in where the team needs help.

Skills & Qualifications

• Restoration or construction experience preferred; mitigation experience is a plus.
• IICRC certifications are a plus.
• Willing to work around water, fire, smoke, mold, and demolition.
• Able to follow instructions, work safely, and document work accurately.
• Dependable, organized, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Able to handle changing priorities and emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time.

Pay: $21.00–$30.00 per hour
