Restoration Technician / Construction Worker

Job Description

Restoration company looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Construction Worker / Water & Mold Restoration Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in construction, demolition, water damage restoration, or mold remediation.

The ideal candidate is responsible, motivated, able to work independently, and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Water damage restoration and cleanup
• Mold remediation and containment setup
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Drywall removal, installation, and basic repairs
• Basic construction and remodeling work
• Setting up and removing drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment
• Maintaining clean and organized job sites
• Following company safety procedures
• Working independently or with a team

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction, restoration, or demolition
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to use basic power tools and construction equipment
• Responsible, punctual, and hardworking
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Flexibility to work occasional emergency jobs
• IICRC certification is a plus, but not required

Pay & Trial Period

Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience and performance)

• No experience: Starting pay is $22 per hour.
• Experienced workers: $25 per hour for candidates with proven construction or restoration experience.
• First 2 weeks: All new employees go through a 2-week trial period to evaluate their skills, work ethic, reliability, and performance.
• Opportunity for a raise: Even without previous experience, employees who demonstrate strong motivation, work quickly and efficiently, learn fast, follow instructions, and consistently deliver quality work can be promoted to $25 per hour after the trial period.
