Join Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton is seeking an experienced and motivated ReStore Manager to lead the daily operations of our New South Dayton ReStore. This position plays a critical role in generating revenue that supports affordable housing opportunities for local families throughout Clark, Greene, and Montgomery Counties.

Position Summary

The ReStore Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, donation acquisition, inventory management, merchandising, staff and volunteer supervision, customer service, and financial administration. This role ensures the ReStore operates efficiently, safely, and profitably while supporting Habitat's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day ReStore operations, sales, staffing, and customer service.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff and volunteers.
• Develop relationships with businesses, community organizations, churches, and donors to increase merchandise donations.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Coordinate donation pickups, including operating the Habitat truck as needed.
• Support marketing, outreach, and promotional efforts to increase sales, donations, and volunteer participation.
• Monitor financial transactions, reporting, budgeting, and operational performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management, business management, or nonprofit leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Commitment to Habitat for Humanity's mission and community impact.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb ladders throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors.
