The firm combines strategic advisory capabilities with hands-on execution, serving as trusted operators and fiduciaries in complex situations.

The Director will play a critical leadership role across engagement delivery, client development, and practice growth. This individual will lead high-impact turnaround, restructuring, performance improvement, and transformation engagements while working directly with executive management teams, boards of directors, private equity sponsors, and creditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, boards, lenders, and investors.
  • Oversee liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, business plan development, and operational assessments.
  • Evaluate strategic alternatives, restructuring options, and value creation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute initiatives focused on profitability enhancement, cost optimization, working capital improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Interim and Fiduciary Leadership

  • Support or serve in interim leadership capacities, including CRO, CFO, COO, or other executive roles when required.
  • Lead stakeholder negotiations and communications in high-pressure situations.

Business Development

  • Cultivate relationships with private equity firms, lenders, attorneys, investment bankers, and corporate executives.
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities.
  • Participate in proposals, client presentations, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives.
  • Help expand the firm's presence within target industries and geographic markets.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor Associates, Senior Associates, and Vice Presidents.
  • Review analyses, financial models, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Contribute to recruiting, training, and practice-building initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, performance improvement, operational transformation, transaction advisory, or a related field.
  • Experience working with middle-market and large corporate clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and client stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and client engagements.

Preferred Background

  • CPA, CFA, CTP, MBA, or other relevant professional designation preferred but not required.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is a hands-on operator and advisor who thrives in dynamic environments. They are equally comfortable analyzing liquidity, presenting to a board, managing client relationships, and leading teams through critical business situations. This individual combines strategic thinking with execution-oriented leadership and is motivated by helping organizations navigate complexity and create sustainable value.
