About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Japes Telford. You will be responsible for managing the team, maintaining high standards of food and service, and ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of the restaurant.

Lead, motivate and manage the team.

Prepare staff rotas and manage staffing levels.

Maintain excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.

Ensure food quality, hygiene and health & safety standards.

Manage stock, ordering, deliveries and waste.

Monitor sales, costs and overall restaurant performance.

Train and develop team members.

Manage opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised and ready for service.

Work closely with the owners/management to improve the business.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant/hospitality management or a similar supervisory role.

Strong team leadership and customer service experience.

Experience with rotas, stock control and restaurant operations.

Food Safety/Hygiene qualification or willingness to obtain one.

Right to work in the UK.

Hospitality or management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
