Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, wine pairings, and beverage options to advise guests confidently
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars
• Familiarity with Clover POS systems for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries effectively
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper beverage handling procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and beverage service is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills paired with a positive attitude; team-oriented mindset essential for success
