Resume Writer

Randstad RiseSmart is hiring Resume Writers to join our Operations team. This is a Full-time, role with Hybrid at Pune or Bangalore.

As a Resume Writer, you will focus on enabling impacted employees to find fulfilling work as fast as possible. This role is a vital component to achieving our industry-leading results.

What You Will Do

• Write and format customized, ATS-compatible professional resumes for a variety of fields and industries, using data provided by participants through an online portal
• Demonstrate knowledge of resume best practices and writing strategies to support professionals in their job search in various phases of their careers and job transitions
• Align resume and content strategy to each participant’s unique career goals, highlight transferable skills for career pivots, transform responsibilities into metrics-based achievements, and keyword optimize
• Write and format cover letters and social media (LinkedIn) bios
• Directly interact with participants as needed by phone and/or email
• Provide outstanding customer service as a representative of Randstad RiseSmart
• Deliver services within set project delivery timelines
• Support job seekers in industries such as tech, manufacturing, science, healthcare, education, entertainment, commerce, and more

Skills You Will Need

• 4+ years of experience as a professional resume writer is preferred
• Expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading professional branding documents
• Ability to identify and incorporate relevant information from job and industry research into documents
• Ability to recognize strategic opportunities to improve and adapt documents by industry, function, and level, including for entry-level, technical, mid-career, and executive roles
• Expertise in detecting career/experience gaps and risks, understanding implied business impact, differentiating leadership vs operational execution, and capturing leadership voice and tone
• Ability to conduct effective resume intake calls with participants over the phone
• Solid understanding of geographic and cultural hiring nuances
• Expertise in formatting and design tools (including single and two-column layouts, borders/shading, and icons) using MS Word and knowledgeable in various resume formats
• Skills required include outstanding written and verbal communication, attention to detail, time management, organization, critical thinking, and customer service
• Certification from a major career organizations (NRWA, CDI, CPRW, CRS etc.) is preferred
