Retail Account Manager - Remote

Position Summary

The Retail Account Manager is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new retail partnerships throughout their assigned territory. This role focuses on introducing Scenta and Cleana to independent retailers and regional chains while building long-term relationships that drive repeat business and sustainable growth.

Success in this role comes from curiosity, preparation, consultative selling, and consistently delivering value to retail partners.

Primary ResponsibilitiesRetail Prospecting

• Research prospective retailers before every first contact.
• Identify qualified boutique, grocery, hardware, farm & ranch, and specialty retailers.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with store owners, buyers, and category managers.
• Sales Outreach
• Conduct outbound phone calls to prospective retailers.

Relationship Management

• Build long-term partnerships with retail accounts.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers.
• Support retailers after the initial order.
• Encourage reorders and product expansion.
• Gather retailer feedback for continuous improvement.

Merchandising Support

• Recommend display placement.
• Assist retailers with merchandising best practices.
• Promote countertop displays, floor displays, and seasonal opportunities.
• Help maximize sell-through.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitors.
• Report customer feedback.
• Share merchandising ideas.
• Identify emerging retail opportunities.
• Provide insights on local market trends.

CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Log all activities.
• Track follow-ups.
• Update opportunity stages.
• Meet weekly activity goals.
• Schedule buyer meetings and product presentations.
• Present Scenta and Cleana retail programs.
• Explain merchandising strategies and display options.
• Recommend products based on each retailer's customer base.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
