Retail Administration Assistant

About the Role:
Inland Petroleum is an independent fuel and lubricants distributor proudly supporting customers across western and north western NSW. With a strong customer centric focus, they continue to expand services across regional and rural communities. Based in South Dubbo, this part time role see you working closely with the Site Manager, you will provide administrative support across a range of functions including inventory management, invoice processing, customer enquiries, order management and safety administration.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing emails, correspondence and general administrative tasks
• Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Supporting stock control, stocktakes and inventory management processes
• Assisting with product ordering and maintaining accurate records
• Processing phone orders and customer enquiries
• Supporting retail pricing updates and operational administration
• Maintaining safety, training and compliance records
• Assisting with reporting and documentation across the site
• Providing general support to the Site Manager and wider retail team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in administration, retail, customer service or office support
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Well-developed communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• The ability to multitask and work both independently and within a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Highly Regarded

• Experience within retail, fuel, convenience or service-based environments
• Exposure to inventory management or stock control processes
• Invoice processing or accounts administration experience
• Experience using POS, console or payment terminal systems
• Knowledge of WHS administration and compliance requirements
• Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Retail or similar
