RETAIL & E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT

Multi Junction is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable person to assist our in-store and online customers, help manage stock and prepare customer orders.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable using a computer and pays attention to getting the details right.

What you’ll do

• Assist customers: Welcome customers in store, answer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone and email, and help customers choose suitable products.
• Support sales: Check prices and availability, suggest suitable alternatives when an item is unavailable, and follow up on enquiries.
• Process online orders: Assist with orders from our website and online marketplaces, checking that the correct products and quantities are prepared.
• Pick and pack: Pack orders securely, check the model, colour and quantity against the order, and prepare parcels for dispatch or collection.
• Follow up on deliveries: Help coordinate courier collections, check delivery progress and keep customers informed about delays.
• Receive and organise stock: Check incoming deliveries for correct quantities and damage, update stock records and keep products easy to locate.
• Check stock accuracy: Assist with stock counts and report low stock, missing items, damage or differences between the system and physical stock.
• Provide after-sales support: Record and follow up on returns, exchanges and warranty enquiries according to company procedures.
• Keep information accurate: Report incorrect product details, prices or stock availability spotted on our website or marketplace listings.
• Maintain the store: Keep shelves, displays, packing areas and the stockroom tidy and organised.

What we’re looking for

• A friendly, professional manner and clear written and spoken communication.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets and learning stock or order systems.
• The ability to manage several customer requests and tasks during busy periods.
• A willingness to learn our products and work well with the team.
• Previous retail, customer service, stock handling or online-order experience would be an advantage.
• Experience with Takealot or other online marketplaces would be a bonus.
