About the role
Hanaro Mart is looking for a Retail Assistant to join the team at Robina store. This position involves providing excellent customer service, receiving and displaying stock, maintaining store presentation and supporting the daily operation of the store.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate the checkout and process customer payments accurately
- Receive deliveries and check stock quantities and condition
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the Store Manager
- Refill shelves and ensure products are displayed correctly
- Check product prices, expiry dates and stock rotation
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures
- Support other team members and complete reasonable duties assigned by the Store Manager
About you
- Be reliable, punctual and responsible
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be friendly and confident when assisting customers
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail
- Be physically capable of standing for extended periods and safely lifting and moving stock
