Retail Assistant

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Retail Assistant to join our operational retail and client service team. In this role, you will act as a primary brand ambassador, assisting customers, maintaining product presentations, and supporting day-to-day store operations. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Greet incoming shoppers, assist with product inquiries, and deliver attentive, professional service to ensure a positive customer journey.
• Point of Sale Operations: Process daily sales transactions accurately, handle cash and digital payments, and assist with daily till balancing.
• Stock & Inventory Control: Receive new merchandise shipments, verify stock deliveries against invoices, and assist with regular inventory audits.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain clean, organized, and attractive product displays in accordance with brand standards and visual guidelines.
• Store Operations Maintenance: Keep the floor, fitting areas, and stockrooms clean, structured, and fully prepared for daily operational flow.

Requirements

• Relevant Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a retail sales, customer-facing, or floor operations environment.
• POS & Digital Competency: Familiarity with modern Point of Sale (POS) systems, barcode scanners, and basic digital inventory management tools.
• Communication Skills: Clear, welcoming verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Reliability & Punctuality: Proven record of punctuality, strong work ethic, and dependability during core store operating hours.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle light-to-moderate stock lifting, and maintain continuous active floor coverage.
