Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by understanding their gardening needs and offering tailored product recommendations
• Maintain well-organized merchandise displays, ensuring products are stocked, labeled accurately, and visually appealing
• Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening tools, and horticultural supplies, sharing knowledge on plant care and cultivation techniques
• Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks and coordinate with suppliers for replenishments when necessary
• Support merchandising efforts by creating attractive product arrangements that highlight seasonal or promotional items
• Communicate effectively in multiple languages (including English and Spanish) to serve a diverse customer base
• Educate customers on gardening best practices, horticulture tips, and plant maintenance to enhance their shopping experience

Experience

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for customer service is essential
• Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or plant care is highly advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain tidy displays
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative independently

Pay: £25,420.00-£51,120.00 per year
