ANBOT operates a retail store at Sunway Gandaria, Section 9, Bandar Baru Bangi, where customers can explore our range of outdoor products and camping essentials. At ANBOT, we believe in making outdoor adventures more accessible, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone.

About the role

The Retail Assistant delivers exceptional customer service and drives sales performance in an outdoor retail environment. You will engage customers, recommend suitable outdoor products, process transactions accurately, and support omnichannel operations, including e-commerce and live commerce activities.

Key responsibilities

• Actively engage customers and recommend suitable outdoor products based on customer needs and activities
• Achieve assigned personal and/or store sales targets and upsell and cross-sell complementary products
• Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service at all times
• Demonstrate products where required (e.g., tent setup, usage explanation, care & safety advice)
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all outdoor products, features, and promotions
• Process all sales transactions accurately and in accordance with SOP
• Replenish stock, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure proper product display
• Pack and prepare online orders accurately and within the timeline
• Conduct live streaming sessions to promote products.
• Report on time and adhere to assigned work roster

Qualification:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Outdoor retail or lifestyle product experience is an advantage
• Passion for outdoor activities (camping, hiking, adventure gear)
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and retail shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Consultative selling and customer engagement skills
• Basic math and computer literacy
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
