Warboys Christmas Tree Centre is a family run buisness with over 40 years experience. We are of the largest specialist tree retailers in East Anglia providing the highest quality sustainably farmed Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce in sizes ranging from 4ft to 10ft.

Warboys Christmas Tree Centre are looking for a friendly face to join our small team for the Christmas period. We are a well established business that has run with the same small team for the past 10 years, but as we branch out into online retail and deliveries we have a new opportunity for someone to be our happy face at the till.

Primary roles to include till operations and dealing with customer enquiries both in person and over the phone. Whilst you will be based undercover in our till area, not moving trees around, this is an outside retail site so you will need to be a hardy soul. However there is as much tea and coffee as you can drink to keep you warm.

Duties

• Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products or answering their questions
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate discounts
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries over the phone

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
