Retail Assistant Manager

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and decision-making.
• Oversee and optimize the use of Retail POS Systems for efficient transactions.
• Manage inventory levels using Inventory Management Systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Coordinate team communication and scheduling via Microsoft Teams.
• Train and supervise staff on POS and inventory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop sales strategies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage cash handling and daily financial reconciliation.
• Implement promotional activities and monitor their effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Retail POS Systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS).
• Experience with Inventory Management Systems (e.g., TradeGecko, Zoho Inventory)
