Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
• Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize product availability and presentation
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge
• Implement sales strategies through effective pricing, promotional activities, and upselling techniques
• Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry
• Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping or payroll tasks
• Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
• Knowledge of retail math, budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Demonstrated ability in employee recruiting, interviewing, training & development
• Experience with grocery or wireless sales is advantageous but not required; a background in retail store product knowledge is preferred
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and operational procedures
