Retail Associate

Exotica Fashion is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Associate to support daily store operations and provide a welcoming shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, answering general questions, maintaining organized merchandise displays, processing purchases, and supporting the store team with routine retail duties. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a customer-focused fashion retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Assist customers with product questions, styles, sizes, colors, and availability.
• Help customers locate merchandise and provide general shopping assistance.
• Process purchases and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain neat, organized, and presentable merchandise displays.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, tagging, and organizing new merchandise.
• Restock products and maintain sales-floor organization throughout the day.
• Keep checkout areas, fitting areas, and customer spaces clean and presentable.
• Provide receipts and assist with routine customer-service requests.
• Communicate customer feedback, product needs, and concerns to store management.
• Support opening, closing, and other daily retail responsibilities as assigned.
• Follow store procedures for customer service, transactions, safety, and merchandise handling.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, fashion, sales, boutique, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable assisting customers in a busy retail environment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Able to learn POS systems, product information, and store procedures.
