Retail Associate — Record Store

Part-Time | 32 Hours/Week

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and music-loving Retail Associate to join our record store team. This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys talking about music, helping people discover new records, and keeping a fun, welcoming store environment.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM
• 32 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Help customers find records, artists, and genres they’re looking for
• Share recommendations and engage with customers about music
• Operate the register and process cash and card transactions
• Receive, price, tag, and stock new and used records
• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well merchandised
• Assist with inventory and general day-to-day store tasks
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Friendly, personable, and comfortable interacting with customers
• An interest in music and familiarity with vinyl records is a plus
• Able to work independently while also being a team player
• Comfortable learning about and discussing a wide variety of music
• Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important
