About Us

South Park Liquor is a locally owned liquor store in Stony Plain carrying a wide selection of wine, spirits, beer and coolers. We also run a growing online store at spliquor.ca with orders across Canada. We're looking for a reliable, friendly team member to help keep the store running smoothly in-store and online.

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers and help them find products, suggest pairings and alternatives
• Build product knowledge across wine, spirits, beer and coolers
• Handle customer questions, special requests and returns professionally
• Promote our rewards program and current in-store specials

POS & Cash Handling

• Ring sales accurately on our POS system (cash, debit, credit)
• Check ID for every customer who appears under 25 and refuse sales to minors or intoxicated persons
• Open and close the till, count cash and complete end-of-shift reports

Receiving & Inventory

• Unload and receive deliveries, checking product and quantities against invoices
• Put away stock in the back room, coolers and on shelves
• Stock shelves and coolers, rotate product and keep displays full and faced
• Help with cycle counts, price tags and reporting damaged or low stock

Online Order Fulfilment

• Process and pick online orders from spliquor.ca
• Pack orders securely for shipping and prepare in-store pickups
• Print shipping labels and keep online orders moving on time

Store Upkeep

• Keep the sales floor, coolers, counters and back room clean and organized
• Set up promotional displays and signage
• Follow opening and closing procedures and store security practices

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 or older (legal age in Alberta)
• ProServe Liquor Staff Training certification (or willing to complete it before starting)
• Friendly, dependable and comfortable working with the public
• Able to lift and carry cases up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
• Available for evenings, weekends and holidays
• Basic computer skills
• Liquor or retail experience is an asset, not required — we'll train the right person
