Retail Associate

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail Associate to assist with daily operations and provide a welcoming experience for customers. This position involves helping individuals locate products, answering general merchandise questions, maintaining organized displays, and supporting a positive and efficient customer environment.

The Retail Associate will work closely with team members to ensure products and informational materials are accessible, customer needs are addressed promptly, and daily responsibilities are completed accurately. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Help customers locate merchandise and navigate available product selections.
• Answer general questions regarding product features, availability, and specifications.
• Provide accurate information about merchandise and store procedures.
• Assist customers with identifying products based on their stated preferences.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accessible merchandise displays.
• Arrange products and informational materials according to established guidelines.
• Replenish merchandise and supplies as needed.
• Check product displays for missing labels, outdated information, or misplaced items.
• Assist with organizing incoming merchandise and maintaining designated storage areas.
• Help ensure products are properly labeled and presented.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries and direct specialized questions to appropriate team members.
• Maintain familiarity with available merchandise and relevant product updates.
• Assist with organizing customer-facing areas throughout the day.
• Monitor supply levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Support routine inventory checks and merchandise organization.
• Help customers understand general company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient daily operations.
• Follow established workplace guidelines for merchandise handling and customer assistance.
• Complete additional retail support responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to provide helpful and attentive customer assistance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
