Retail Associate

We are looking to hire a part-time retail associate for our children's consignment store! We offer a close-knit, fun working environment and are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and efficient, and who enjoys interacting with customers. The position will require approximately 15-20 hours per week. Half-day availability (10am-3pm) on Saturday is required; full-day availability is preferred. Afternoon availability on 1-2 weekdays is preferred. The work will be done on-site at our retail store in Easton, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Tag, hang, and put clothing and other items out onto the sales floor.
• Assist with store merchandising (steaming clothes, organizing racks, etc.).
• Maintain a neat and clean store environment (including basic cleaning/tidying).
• Post photos of inventory on social media.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a positive, professional attitude.
• Greet and interact with customers and consignors. Help customers shop, as requested.
• Check customers out; run and reconcile register.
• Respond to customer inquiries on social media and by phone.

Required qualities:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent people skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• Interest in fashion, children, secondhand shopping, sustainability, and/or small business is a plus.
