Retail Associate

Love helping people? Ready to join a team that actually has your back? Keep reading.

At Battery Outfitters, we're not just selling batteries — we're solving problems, saving days, and making sure people leave with exactly what they need and a smile on their face. When someone walks in stressed about a dead car battery or a busted key fob, you're the person who fixes that. That feels good. Every single time.

We're looking for great people to join our Springfield, MO store. No battery expertise required — we'll teach you everything. All you need to bring is a great attitude and a genuine desire to help.

What Your Days Look Like

You'll greet customers, figure out what they need, and hook them up with the right solution. You'll test and install batteries — car, watch, you name it — answer phones, ring up sales, and keep the store looking sharp. You'll be part of a team that takes pride in doing things right and taking care of each other. No two days are exactly the same, and that's what makes it fun.

Sundays will always be a day off with a chosen weekday as well. Two days off in a row are not guaranteed.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who is friendly and genuinely enjoys helping people, dependable because your team counts on you, willing to learn and grow, comfortable with basic tools or open to learning, and detail-oriented and safety-minded. Retail experience is a bonus but absolutely not required — if you're the right person, we'll train you.

What's In It For You

$16/hour to start with real opportunities to grow, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off and holidays, 401(k) with company match, employee discounts, and a team culture that actually supports you.

Battery Outfitters is powered by people — and we invest in ours. If you're ready to do meaningful work, build real skills, and grow with a company that values you, we'd love to meet you.

Apply today and come power up your career in Springfield MO.
