Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. Overview This position will support pharmacy needs at the retail pharmacy located within St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in processing provider medication orders utilizing prescribed procedures under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Work involves standing, lifting and walking continually while in the process of performing duties.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED

Licenses/Certifications: Pharmacy Technician license tracked by IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation)

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) validated by PTCB or National Healthcareer Certification (ExCPT)

Experience: At least 18 years of age

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1 year pharmacy

Demonstrates knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology

Other requirements/information: Demonstrates ability to perform and apply arithmetic calculations Intermediate computer skills.
