Position Overview

Capitol Convenience is seeking a friendly and dependable Retail Associate to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will assist shoppers, maintain product displays, and help keep the store organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide helpful service
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise
• Check product displays and maintain store cleanliness
• Monitor inventory and report low-stock items
• Follow cash-handling and store safety procedures
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Support team members with daily retail activities

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic cash-handling and math skills
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
