Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling.
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-maintained through effective merchandising.
• Manage inventory by stocking new products, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with inventory counts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.
• Handle cash drawer handling responsibilities with accuracy while adhering to cash handling procedures and retail math principles.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations is highly desirable.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently.
• Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management will help you excel in this role.
