We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Customer Assistant to join our dynamic team and help us continue to grow.

Position Overview:

As a Retail Assistant, you will be the face of our bakery, providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with their orders and product selections. You will ensure the store is clean, organised, and fully stocked, while handling transactions and supporting day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a passion for fresh-baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their orders, providing product recommendations and information.
• Ensure the display is fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised front-of-house area.
• Assist in managing inventory and stock levels.
• Support the team with daily opening and closing duties.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
• An interest in food and particularly baked goods.
• Coffee/food experience or training is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings.
• Must be over 18 years old, due to equipment.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday - Sunday
