Retail Director

Role Description The Retail Director at Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing retail strategy and performance across the business. The role involves monitoring daily retail operations, reviewing sales reports, and aligning product offerings with customer demand. The Retail Director collaborates with management and team leads to set sales targets, optimize pricing, and ensure an excellent guest experience in all retail areas. Responsibilities include guiding team leads on merchandising standards, supporting budgeting and cost control efforts, and recommending improvements to operational processes. The role also requires regular virtual meetings, performance reviews, and coordination with leadership to support long-term retail growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail management, including overseeing multiple retail or hospitality outlets.
• Proficiency in Team Management, with the ability to lead, coach, and support diverse teams remotely.
• Strong Sales skills, including setting targets, analyzing sales data, and driving revenue growth.
• Background in Operations Management and Budgeting, with a focus on efficiency, cost control, and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make data-informed decisions.
• Familiarity with hospitality, bar, or restaurant environments is highly beneficial.
• Experience using digital tools for remote management, reporting, and team coordination.
