Part-Time Shift (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM) (Hours Vary)

Are you passionate about pets, outgoing, and ready to bring warm, five-star hospitality to Lubbock's favorite pups? We’re looking for a charismatic Guest Experience Representative to join our tight-knit, supportive team!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Welcoming human clients and greeting every dog with love.
• Managing booking reservations and answering phone calls.
• Keeping the retail floor stocked, clean, and beautifully presented.
• Representing Woof Gang at awesome community events like farmers' markets, Texas Tech events, fundraisers, and Midnight Madness!

Additional Duties:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a lively, engaging manner
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about our offerings and encourage upselling opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-merchandised
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone etiquette and in person
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring product levels
• Support store operations through merchandising efforts and maintaining a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual environment (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
• Experience with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and upselling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions and cash drawer balancing
• Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
• Must demonstrate good phone etiquette, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Pay: $11.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
