RETAIL HEAD

A Retail Head is responsible for overseeing retail operations, driving sales growth, managing store performance, and leading retail teams across one or multiple branches.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Management, or a related field.
• A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage but not always required.

Work Experience

• Typically, 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, sales, or store management.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role, depending on the company.
• Experience managing multiple stores, branches, or retail teams is an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving profitability.

• Excellent sales and business development abilities.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss (P&L) management.
• Inventory management and stock control.
• Customer service and customer relationship management.
• Strategic planning and decision-making.

• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and market trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and retail management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of retail stores or branches.
• Develop strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Monitor store performance, KPIs, and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop store managers and retail staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service and brand standards.
• Manage inventory, expenses, and store budgets.
• Implement company policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
