■ About the Role

Sparroh Shopfits seeks a hands-on Design Manager to create original concepts for retail stores, showrooms, flagship outlets and commercial interiors. Create brand-aligned 2D plans, 3D renders and presentations from brief to execution.

■ Key Responsibilities

Concept & Creative Design

• Create retail concepts from scratch, from brief to approval.

• Prepare mood boards, themes, material palettes and presentations.

• Plan store zoning, customer circulation, merchandising and space use.

2D & 3D Design

• Independently prepare 2D layouts, plans, elevations, sections and furniture drawings.

• Produce 3D models, photorealistic renders and visualizations.

• Design fixtures, counters, display units and retail furniture.

• Review drawings, materials and finishes; coordinate working/GFC drawings without losing design intent.

Commercial & Project Coordination

• Recommend lighting, materials and finishes; use value engineering and cost optimization.

• Manage timelines, revisions, client approvals and documents.

• Coordinate with clients, architects, PMC engineers, project managers, vendors and site teams; resolve issues and minimize rework.

• Present concepts, incorporate feedback and guide junior designers.

■ Eligibility & Requirements

• B.Arch or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from a reputed institute (mandatory).

• 3–5 years in retail concept design, retail fit-outs or commercial interior design.

• Hands-on original concept creation, 2D planning and 3D visualization mandatory.

• AutoCAD; SketchUp / 3ds Max or equivalent; V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion or equivalent.

• Photoshop, PowerPoint and client presentation proficiency.

• Knowledge of retail fixtures, merchandising, lighting, materials, finishes, GFC coordination and design feasibility.

• Creative, communication and coordination skills.

• Retail brand/design studio experience preferred.

• Portfolio showing original retail concepts, 2D layouts and 3D renders mandatory.

Important: We need an independent concept designer—not a profile limited to drafting, design adaptation, execution or coordination. Shortlisted candidates may take a practical 2D/3D design assessment.
