Retail Manager

About the role

This position is responsible for leading the team to deliver excellent customer service across all aspects, including store tidiness, merchandise displays, and inventory management. The responsibilities of this position include facilitating and overseeing daily store operations, ensuring that employees work together effectively to achieve store sales targets and contribute to maintaining the store's overall upkeep.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in leading and motivating staff to achieve maximum results in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring that the team consistently meets or exceeds set targets.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring stock replenishment is timely and that the return cycle is properly managed in accordance with company policies.
• Continuously improve existing work procedures and operations, ensuring that all paperwork and documentation handling is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards.
• Manage and oversee key daily store operations, including opening and closing the store, ensuring proper housekeeping standards and visual merchandising, collaborating with Heads of Departments to assess merchandise mix, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and addressing customer complaints professionally.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
• Proven experience in retail management, with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in sales management, inventory control, and customer service. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• A customer-centric attitude, ensuring the highest level of service is provided at all times. Strong leadership, analytical skill, sales-driven, customer and result oriented team player.
• Flexible and available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
