A well-established Indian Store in Manurewa is expanding its team! We are looking for two reliable and motivated Assistants to help us deliver exceptional service to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Welcoming customers, assisting them in finding products, and handling cash/EFTPOS transactions at the counter. stock

Management: Replenishing shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring all stock is fresh and correctly priced. Inventory

Handling:Assisting with receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and maintaining an organized storeroom.

Store Upkeep: Ensuring the store, aisles, and counter areas are clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.

Sales Transactions: Operating point-of-sale systems, processing payments, handling returns, and balancing the cash register.

Store Presentation: Cleaning the retail floor, arranging visual merchandise displays, and monitoring for loss prevention.

What We Are Looking For:

Communication Skills: Good command of English. Proficiency in Hindi, Punjabi, or other Indian languages is a strong advantage to better assist our diverse customer base.

Physical Fitness : Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting boxes, stocking heavy items, and standing for extended periods. Reliability:

Punctual, honest, and flexible to work a roster that may include weekends and public holidays.

Experience: 2 years of experience in retail, supermarkets, or customer service or qualification at level 4 or above. Work Rights: Valid work visa or citizenship/residency in New Zealand.
