Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective training and development initiatives
• Manage daily store operations including cash handling, POS transactions, and customer service interactions to ensure smooth functioning
• Oversee merchandising efforts, ensuring product displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with marketing strategies
• Handle purchasing decisions and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shrinkage
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities
• Conduct recruiting efforts, interview candidates, and onboard new team members to build a strong workforce
• Monitor sales performance, prepare budgets, and analyze financial reports to meet or exceed store targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management with supervising responsibilities and team leadership skills
• Strong negotiation abilities for vendor relations and conflict resolution
• Bilingual or multilingual skills to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Expertise in POS systems, cashiering procedures, and bookkeeping practices
• Excellent communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and marketing initiatives
• Proficiency in merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Sound organizational skills with time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative procedures
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, and developing talent within a retail environment
• Customer service orientation with phone etiquette skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
