Retail Manager

Our esteemed client, a world-class ultra-luxury wellness resort set amidst the pristine beauty of the Maldives, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the resort's boutique operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an exceptional guest shopping experience aligned with the resort's luxury standards.

Requirements :

• At least 3 years of experience as a salesperson or in a comparable role within a luxury hotel, resort, or similar high-end retail environment
• Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Genuine passion and understanding of luxury fashion and apparel.
• Proven background in stock control, visual merchandising, customer service excellence, sales performance, and revenue optimisation.
• Dynamic and personable character with strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
• Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Embraces resilience, adaptability, and a healthy lifestyle.
• Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in remote island operations is a plus!

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily boutique operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional guest experience.
• Drive sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving, and inventory control to ensure accurate availability of merchandise.
• Plan and execute merchandising displays that reflect luxury standards and brand identity.
• Deliver personalised guest service with a focus on excellence and attention to detail.
• Train, coach, and motivate the boutique team to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
• Monitor market trends and guest preferences to recommend product selections and sales opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and revenue forecasts.
• Uphold operational procedures, compliance standards, and internal controls.
