Retail Operations Assistant Manager/Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Retail Operations Assistant Manager or Manager to oversee the daily operations and performance of approximately 30 retail chocolate outlets.

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all retail locations located in Malaysia and ensuring outlets are able to operate without any disruptions.

· Ensure all outlets strictly comply with company standards and service requirements such as proper product display, merchandising, store cleanliness, staff hygiene and conduct, and other brand standards.

· Conduct regular outlet visits and conduct operational inspections with the goal of identifying areas of improvement as well as any issues found on the store premises.

· Work closely with outlet supervisors to discuss outlet specific issues on a frequent basis and assist in solving any issues that are identified.

· Responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting all outlet supervisors and retail service members.

· Setting monthly sales targets for all retail outlet locations in conjunction with management feedback.

· Ensure all retail outlets are able to achieve set sales targets by ensuring all inventory and staffing requirements are met on a timely basis.

· Responsible for outlet cash handling and submission of daily cash report to Accounting Department.

· Able to swiftly and adequately respond to all customer feedback while identifying and rectifying underlying root causes, if any.

· Ensure strict compliance with company policies, food safety, health and safety, and legal requirements.

· Conduct monthly evaluations for all outlet supervisors alongside reviewing staff evaluations conducted by outlet supervisors.

· Plan and implement promotions, product launches, outlet openings, renovations, and other retail projects.

· Work closely with marketing, finance, human resources, supply chain, merchandising, and other departments to support with day-to-day activities.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably managing multiple outlets.

· Experience managing 20 or more outlets will be an advantage.

· Experience in retail, food and beverage, specialty food, chocolate, or consumer goods is preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Good knowledge of sales, inventory, staff, and outlet operations.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Ability to communicate in Chinese will be an advantage.

· Willing to travel regularly to approximately 30 outlets located throughout Malaysia.

· Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
