Retail Operations Associate

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find an Operations Representative to support merchandising initiatives, including planogram resets across 300+ stores nationwide. This role is ideal for candidates with retail, grocery, convenience store, or CPG experience who excel at coordinating store schedules, managing vendor communications, and preparing operational reports.

Job Title: Operations Representative

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 8 months (possible extension)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Organize 300+ stores into geographic batches for merchandising resets.
• Coordinate planogram reset schedules and deployment plans with third-party merchandising vendors.
• Manage communications with vendors and internal grocery and Whole Body teams.
• Determine staffing requirements for each store batch and coordinate vendor resources.
• Prepare and maintain Excel trackers, PowerPoint presentations, and operational reporting decks.
• Support new store setups, major remodels, and other merchandising initiatives.
• Track schedules, progress, and operational updates while participating in team meetings.

Must-Have Skills

• 2–3+ years of experience in retail, grocery, convenience store operations, or CPG.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of merchandising concepts, planograms, and store reset operations.
• Experience with scheduling, vendor coordination, and operational reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and deadlines.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with grocery or convenience store chains.
• Experience coordinating third-party merchandising vendors.
• Knowledge of store resets, new store openings, and major remodels.
• Experience preparing reporting decks and tracking multi-location operations.

Education

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Work Environment

• Office-based or remote; no in-store or warehouse work required.
• 40 hours per week, typically 9 AM–5 PM.
• Overtime may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
• No holiday work required.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $30 - $34 Hourly on W2.
