About the role

The Retail Operation Manager at The Editor's Market Malaysia is responsible for the end-to-end management of the retail and brand's lifestyle (cafe/events) environment to ensure it meets international quality standards. Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end sales process and premium lifestyle merchandise, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining a consultative, customer service approach
• Manage daily opening/closing procedures, POS systems, and cash handling
• Ensure the store environment, including displays and cafe areas, adheres strictly to global brand guidelines
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock levels and conduct regular stock-takes to prevent shrinkage and ensure value items are tracked accurately
• Supervise retail staff and manage staff scheduling
• Provide product knowledge training and foster a high-performance culture
• Manage customer feedback and resolve issues to maintain the brand's premium reputation
• Support the implementation of local marketing campaigns, events and product launches

About you

• 3–5 years of experience in retail management, specifically within FCMG and lifestyle retail sectors
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency in POS systems and cloud-based inventory management software
• Good command of Mandarin, Bahasa and English
• A genuine passion for fashion and lifestyle
