Blue Sky is seeking an individual to join the Retail packaging team in a permanent position. The Retail Operator will be responsible for performing general labour activities, assisting in retail product formulations, preforming product packaging, labeling, and quality control of retail cannabis related products. We are looking for a highly motivated and detailed oriented individual to join our continually growing team. This is a full-time, on-site permanent position, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. Weekend and overtime shifts subject to availability.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labour tasks such as filling, bottling, capping, labelling, boxing, and packaging of retail cannabis products.

• Operate production and lab equipment such as scales, pumps, mixers, and filling machines.

• Adhere and maintain compliance to all Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and product quality standards.

• Manage documentation and information related to production activities.

• Maintain and service equipment required for production activities.·

-Cleaning and sanitization of work area and equipment before and after each production.

-Maintain general care of tools, technical equipment, machines, and production facility.

• Maintain a safe and clean workplace and follow established safe work practices.

-Report all incidents (inventory discrepancies, accidents, equipment failures, Non Conformance Reports (NCR's), concerns, updates etc. to supervision immediately upon discovery.

• Performing other duties as required from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old

• Must be eligible to work in Canada

• Punctual and able to reliably commute to facility

• Cannabis retail packaging experience considered an asset however no previous experience necessary

• Must pass criminal background check

• Self starter and can manage own time wisely

• Able to work unsupervised, and within team environment.

Requirements:

• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment including scrubs, hair net, beard net, mask.

• Physically able to stand or sit for long periods of time

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

• Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures, Forms, and work instructions.

• Maintain a safe work area and adhere to all company Health and Safety policies.

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

• Acceptable results to a Criminal Record Check
