Job Summary

We are looking for a Retail Pharmacy Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and coordinate pharmacy-related activities with the hospital and clinical teams. The candidate should have relevant hospital pharmacy experience and knowledge of pharmacy operations, stock management, documentation, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the retail pharmacy.
• Coordinate pharmacy staff and allocate routine responsibilities.
• Monitor medicine and medical-supply stock levels.
• Maintain proper records for purchases, sales, receipts, and stock movement.
• Check expiry dates, batch details, and storage conditions of medicines.
• Coordinate with hospital departments regarding pharmacy requirements.
• Support timely availability of prescribed medicines and supplies.
• Monitor stock discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
• Assist with purchase planning and vendor coordination.
• Maintain pharmacy-related registers, invoices, and documentation.
• Ensure pharmacy activities follow applicable hospital procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support staff training and routine operational coordination.
• Handle routine pharmacy-related queries and escalate issues when required.

Eligibility

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm or relevant pharmacy qualification as applicable.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Experience managing retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory, billing, stock records, and pharmacy documentation.
• Good communication and team-coordination skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Immediate joiners required.
