About Us

Think Water Inverell is part of the nationally recognised Think Water network, specialising in pumps, irrigation, filtration, pipe, fittings and water solutions.

Operating alongside the long-established Inverell Bearing Centre, we are expanding the water side of our business and looking for an experienced, driven Retail Sales Allrounder to join our team.

Our customers include homeowners, tradespeople, farmers and commercial businesses throughout Inverell and the surrounding region.

The Role

This is a newly created position reporting directly to the owners and an opportunity to become a key face of Think Water Inverell.

Working primarily from our retail showroom, you will manage customer enquiries, build relationships, provide practical product solutions and identify opportunities for new business.

We are looking for someone who can bring experience, initiative and attention to detail to the role while developing their technical knowledge across pumps, irrigation and water products.

What You’ll Be Doing

·         Drive retail and trade sales

·         Build relationships with new and existing customers

·         Identify and follow up sales opportunities

·         Provide practical product advice and solutions

·         Prepare quotes and customer orders

·         Handle enquiries in person, by phone and email

·         Source products, pricing and availability

·         Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers

·         Assist with pump and irrigation quotations

·         Coordinate pump repair and service enquiries

·         Assist with stock control and showroom presentation

·         Work closely with the owners and wider team

About You

We are looking for an experienced salesperson who is motivated, practical and customer focused.

Ideally, you will have:

·         Retail, trade counter, industrial or technical sales experience

·         Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

·         Drive and confidence to develop new business

·         Practical or mechanical aptitude

·         Strong attention to detail and follow-through

·         Good organisational and problem-solving skills

·         Confidence using computers and business systems

·         Initiative and a willingness to take responsibility

·         A desire to learn and develop your technical knowledge

Experience with pumps, irrigation or plumbing would be highly regarded, although relevant technical or trade sales experience will also be considered.
