RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT

Role Overview

The Retail Sales Assistant acts as the primary brand representative on the showroom floor. You are responsible for delivering a premium customer experience that bridges the gap between casual lifestyle shoppers and serious automotive enthusiasts interested in high-value performance parts and body kits.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Consultation: Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding the brand’s product range—from apparel and accessories to technical inquiries about automotive body kits and wheels.
• Sales & Transactions: Process payments via the Point of Sale (POS) system, merchant machine, handle inventory inquiries, and cross-sell lifestyle merchandise during automotive events or daily walk-ins.
• Showroom & Merchandising: Maintain the "Liberty Walk" aesthetic by ensuring vehicle displays, apparel racks, and cafe areas are clean, organized, and aligned with global brand visual guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, conduct regular cycle counts for high-value items, and report low-stock levels to management to ensure availability for enthusiasts.
• Operational Support: Support the Store Manager during promotional events, car meetups, or product launches held at the showroom.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of Liberty Walk’s catalog to explain product fitment, authenticity, and brand heritage to customers.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM qualification; a Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is a strong advantage.

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in retail, preferably within the fashion, lifestyle, or automotive industries.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) for inventory tracking and Strong verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English is highly regarded for high-end retail in KL.

• Soft Skills: A genuine passion for car culture is the most significant differentiator. Candidates who understand the automotive scene are prioritized because they can naturally connect with the store's core demographic.
