Retail Sales Assistant

Established in 2006 Tatty's is a successful consignment-based clothing business with stores located in Ponsonby and High Street and Kingsland.

Tatty's is looking to hire a full time Retail sales assistant. As a Tatty's Retail assistant this role offers the opportunity to work across all our amazing products and brands, provide an excellent service experience to each and every customer, going above and beyond to ensure they leave looking and feeling their best.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in sales

What you’ll do

✿ Facilitate exceptional brand experience through personalised service.

✿ Maintain organised, clean and well-merchandised retail spaces

✿ Build long lasting customer and consignor relationships

✿ Work with accuracy and a sense of urgency to maintain stock cycles in store, process POS payments and facilitate consignor account management

✿ Provide welcoming, knowledgeable customer service

✿ Support consignors with drop-offs, accounts and queries

✿ Take ownership of their role within Tatty's and proactively engage with the reporting manager

✿ This is an ongoing full time retail position. Hours are set by the roster and the successful candidate must be available to work any of the 7 days.

Weekend and Public Holiday work required. You may work across any of Tatty’s four Auckland locations.

About you

✿ Reliable and flexible, and have a high standard of personal presentation

 ✿ Has a love for fashion and sustainability, with extensive knowledge of local and international brands. An interest in the resale economy would be a plus.

✿ Friendly and personable

✿ The ability to communicate effectively and confidently with both customers and co-workers

✿ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time and ability to lift and move up to 10kgs

✿ Demonstrate logical thinking, and have the ability to act with initiative and integrity to solve problems

✿ Understanding and experience in using POS and Inventory Management systems

✿ Has great initiative, resilient and self motivated
