Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing expert advice and exceptional service to customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills.
Duties
- Operating the till and processing cash/card payments
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Stacking and replenishing shelves
- Receiving and helping with deliveries
- Checking and organising stock
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting customers with queries and finding products
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day shop duties
- Following company procedures and maintaining a high standard of service
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage stock levels, display setups, and customer inquiries efficiently
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- A proactive attitude with a desire to help customers
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
