Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selections, gardening advice, and answering questions in a lively, approachable manner
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure products are well-organized, properly labeled, and stocked to maximize sales potential
• Promote seasonal promotions, new arrivals, and gardening tips to engage customers and boost sales
• Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, updating stock levels, and conducting regular stock checks
• Communicate product features and benefits clearly in both English and Spanish to cater to diverse customer needs
• Assist with store cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols to create a welcoming shopping environment
• Share your horticultural knowledge to educate customers on plant care, gardening techniques, and sustainable practices

Requirements

• Passion for gardening, horticulture, or outdoor living products with a desire to learn more about plants and garden solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
• Multilingual abilities that enhance customer interactions and support sales across different language groups
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and store cleanliness effectively
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads of merchandise or supplies
• A proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills that foster positive customer relationships

Pay: £25,420.00-£50,882.89 per year
