Retail Sales Assistant

Priceline Pharmacy Aspley is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Retail Assistant / Cashier to join our established team on a full-time Monday to Friday basis.

We are a busy pharmacy retail environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team, providing excellent customer service and ensuring our front-of-store operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Retail Assistant / Cashier, you will be responsible for:

• Providing friendly, efficient and professional customer service
• Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions with a high level of accuracy
• Ensuring register and transaction accuracy at all times
• Scanning and promoting Pulse Rewards membership as part of every eligible customer interaction
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented retail environment
• Replenishing stock and assisting with general retail duties
• Working effectively as part of an established team in a fast-paced environment
• Following store procedures and contributing to a positive customer experience

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous retail, pharmacy or customer service experience
• Is confident and accurate when handling cash and processing transactions
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right
• Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Has a strong customer service focus and friendly manner
• Works well within a team and is willing to support others
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Understands the importance of meeting key performance expectations

Success in this role will include:

• Pulse Rewards scan rate – consistently engaging customers and achieving expected scan rates
• Cash handling accuracy – maintaining a high level of accuracy with all transactions
• Overall accuracy – ensuring transactions, processes and daily tasks are completed correctly
• Reliability and punctuality – consistently attending scheduled shifts, arriving on time and being dependable for the team
• Customer service – providing a positive, friendly and efficient experience for every customer
• Team contribution – working cooperatively with the established team and supporting the smooth operation of the store
